1. Name of the Band and how did you get the name: GRAVITY. We decided on this name as part of our belief in staying humble and keeping our feet on the ground

4. What kind (genre) of music do you guys play? Alternative, Acoustic Rock, R & B, Pop, Retro
5. When and how was the band formed? Randomly jammed the day before the deadline and decided to give it a shot
6. What is the musical background of its members?(has anyone had professional lessons or are they self – taught, is the family musical etc) Everyone is self taught, Saajid has gone for a few vocal lessons.
7. Has the band performed live before? If yes: A) When and where? Saajid – Rockapaluza 2008/2009, Unleashed 2009, TNL Onstage 2008
B) What is the best part of a live performance experience? When the crowd show their appreciation for a good rendition of a song
C) How do you know when you’ve connected with the audience? When the audience respond with the deafening applaud when we reach the climax of the song 8. Have you participated in Onstage before? If yes, A) When? Saajid – Soloist TNL Onstage 2008
B) What will you do different this time around? We are unique as an acoustic trio with aspirations of coming out with our own renditions of existing hit numbers and our own originals
9. What are your expectations of Onstage? Possibly winning or at least making it to the finals as a fans favourite
10. What do you hope your band will get out of Onstage? While winning is important we intend on capturing the hearts of the local audience and inspiring other local bands. Saajid – a big influence of mine has been Shane Perera (Magic Box Mix-Up)
11. What happens after Onstage? We intend on releasing our music internationally to a global audience. Our dream is to reach the Billboard 100 Chart at some point in our career
